Subvert the Dominant Gender Paradigm!

Worried about giving in to beauty standards? There's no shame in indulging yourself every once in a while- just as long as you don't get hooked. After all, the goal is to make the world a more beautiful place, isn't it? To some extent, beauty standards are rooted in our genes, so fighting them completely is futile and not desired.

The so-called 'mainstream culture' the media tries to sell us takes it way too far, of course, by emphasizing the exterior over the interior, turning women into glorified blow-up dolls and men into emotionless rocks (except rocks don't become alcoholics and abuse their spouse, I suppose). The media would tell us that sex is everything and nothing. Everything in the sense that it is the supreme goal in life, and all other activities should be bent on becoming more attractive and 'bagging' a more attractive mate, but Nothing in the sense that there is no emotional attachment- just lust; blind greed for a person's body. I guess there's no surprise that the corporate media understands greed.

The best way to undermine this, as always, is propaganda sabotage, billboard liberation, and guerrilla advetising of our own. Picture a billboard with a model too thin to be healthy- with "Anorexia" sprayed or wheatpasted over the product logo. Put up in the freshman dorms subersive posters that let people know that they are already beautiful. Stick 1/4-sheets with the same message in those magazines in Borders. Aggressively oppose the corporatocracy at every opportunity!

If you Still Actually Trust the Media for Some Ungodly Reason

Clear Channel's major shareholders and the members of its Board of Directors all have conflicts of interest due to their other holdings and positions. The same is true for every corporate-owned media entity. The net result is undeniable.

Some say we shouldn't listen to, buy from, or otherwise support corporations whose practices we find unpalatable. I don't, and there are many others who follow the same ethic. But most of us only learned about corporate evil through other sources; the overwhelming majority of people get their information only after it has been filtered through the corporate lens, without realizing it is corrupt. Trying to educate them is practically a lost cause, although many try. No, the common man cannot be enlightened without something akin to divine intervention.

But if the corporations are not stopped, then the inhumanity we see in the third world, the destruction of the environment, and (soon) the effective enslavement of our own people will only continue and worsen, until the world is something from a nightmare- and executive bank accounts are very, very large.

Capitalism only works when all players have access to all the information. The system breaks when the way that information is relayed is itself controlled by individual players!

Oh That Wacky Government

In all three cases of the Miami 'terror plot', Canada gunmen case, and this 'British plane bombers' plot there was an undercover government agent. The most reasonable assumption is that the operative was an agent provocateur.

That is all.
